Our operating activities are divided into four segments for management and reporting purposes: Drilling and Development, Oil and Gas Sales, Natural Gas Marketing, and Well Operations. In addition, PDC realizes limited revenue from non-operating activities, principally through interest and management fees.

Our Drilling and Development segment reflects the performance or the drilling activities we conduct for partnerships we sponsor and for other investors. Our Oil and Gas Sales segment relates to our corporate investments in oil and natural gas producing properties. Our Riley Natural Gas subsidiary markets gas for other Appalachian Basin producers and from our wells in the other producing regions as well. Results of these operations for third party gas are reported as Natural Gas Marketing. We operate nearly all of the wells that we own an interest in, and we charge the other interest owners for operating their share of these wells. Income and expenses associated with these activities are included in our Well Operations segment.
